Nov 10 2006 Bo Diddly with Alvin Youngblood Hawke and Ruthie Foster
Great venue at the Rialto on the Ga State Campus .I had not seen Bo since 1964 in Louisville at the American Legion on Bardstown road . He can still play at 78 but needed some help walking out on stage . Alvin and the band were fabluous with great support and playing .
Once Bo got his guitar it was some great music showing how much he was a the base of r n'r with the hambone beat .

Delbert Mclinton at the Variety Playhouse
Went with a group of great friends and as always the Variety has marvelous sound and cold beer .
The show that Delbert does is so high in energy that much of the crowd stood throughout ,
Lot of the music from his new album , one of the fortunate few .
Delbert did do some fine harp work and the band from the piano player to the fabulous Don Wise on sax showed what a show should be .

My wife and i visited Madison Indiana a couple of weeks ago and saw that Delbert is the headliner at their August festival..love that guy and his music!
